Fenway Hotel Announces New Menu at HEW Parlor & Chophouse

Chef Eric McHugh Debuts New Menu Items at HEW

DUNEDIN, Fla. (Sept. 2, 2021) – Bringing a flavorful new twist to downtown Dunedin, Fenway Hotel has announced a new menu at its signature restaurant, HEW Parlor & Chophouse. Guests and locals alike can visit the popular eatery, conveniently located inside the Fenway Hotel, to try mouth-watering new menu items and familiar favorites created by Executive Chef Eric McHugh.

“Chef Eric has outdone himself again, creating a menu that pays homage to Dunedin and our waterfront locations,” said Michael Melendez, general manager of Fenway Hotel. “I am certain our guests and loyal local following will be excited to try these new specialties and features.”

Among the new menu features are a 16 oz. Sous Vide BBQ Pork Shank served with a summer peach slaw; Charred Butter Poached Octopus served with a fingerling potato salad and blood orange BBQ charred orange; a Fried Green Tomato “Cuban” Mojo Pork Belly, a nod to the Tampa Cuban Sandwich, and several more. HEW Parlor & Chophouse is open for Brunch Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dinner hours include Wednesday and Thursday from 5 to 9:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m.; and Sunday from 5 to 9:30 p.m.

Originally opened in 1927, Fenway Hotel is an icon of the jazz age, playing host to notable explorers, artists, politicians, musicians and living legends in its time as an operating hotel. Considered to be the “most historically valuable structure” in Dunedin, the hotel was also home to the first radio station in Pinellas County, which began broadcasting from the roof of the Fenway in 1925. Today, the hotel features 83 guest rooms and suites; HEW Parlor & Chophouse, featuring chophouse cuts, chef-driven seasonal preparations and extensive whisky and Scotch collection; Hi-Fi Rooftop Bar overlooking St. Joseph Sound; a combined 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, featuring the Caladesi Ballroom with water views; a resort-style pool; and an expansive front lawn ideal for events.
