October lineup includes Island Witches performance, haunted speakeasy, trunk-or-treat and Halloween-night Fright Night
WHO: The historic Fenway Hotel in Dunedin, Florida
WHAT: Fenway Hotel is getting into the Halloween spirit this October with a lineup of seasonal experiences ranging from family-friendly festivities to cocktails and costumes after dark. The historic hotel will set the scene for four distinctly different Halloween happenings, including a spellbinding performance on the Front Lawn, an immersive takeover of its hidden Room 27 speakeasy, a classic-car trunk-or-treat and a Halloween-night celebration in the ballroom.
Here’s what’s haunting Fenway Hotel this October:
• Island Witches Dance Troupe – Something wicked is coming to Fenway Hotel’s Front Lawn when the Island Witches Dance Troupe returns for a spellbinding Halloween-season performance featuring flames, lights and choreographed spectacle. The family-friendly event is free and open to the public, with donations benefiting Hope Villages of America and its work providing essential services to those in need throughout the community. Learn more on the Fenway Hotel event page.
• The Haunted Room 27: A Halloween Speakeasy Experience – Hidden inside Fenway Hotel, Room 27 takes a darker turn for five nights leading up to Halloween. The intimate speakeasy will pair an eerie atmosphere and mysterious surroundings with a specialty menu of Halloween-inspired craft cocktails created exclusively for the occasion. Two seatings will be offered nightly, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and 9-11 p.m. Reservations are $10, or $20 on Friday, Oct. 30, and can be made online.
• Show Car Soirée Trunk or Treat – Fenway Hotel kicks off Halloween weekend with an evening of costumes, cars and candy on the Front Lawn. Classic cars and custom builds decked out in Halloween décor will open their candy-filled trunks to trick-or-treaters, giving families plenty to admire and collect along the way. Vendors will also be on hand for the festivities. The event is free and open to the public with advance RSVP required.
• Fenway Fright Night – On Halloween night, Fenway Hotel transforms its ballroom and hall for a sophisticated celebration of costumes, cocktails and spooky-season fun. The $59 Trick Package includes a welcome cocktail, live DJ, light bites, haunted hallway tours and a costume contest with prizes for the scariest, funniest and most creative looks. Guests looking to make a full night of it can upgrade to the Treat Package ($89), which adds a three-hour open bar featuring beer, wine and Halloween-inspired signature cocktails.
